We made the decision to knockdown our old house, due to problems with rising damp and mould. When researching builders we came across Millbrook Homes, who although they didn’t have a design in their portfolio that would suit our block they recommended an architect to design a house that met our requests for space, light, and “living in the trees” aspect and could be built on almost the same footprint as the old house. The build had to take into account sloping garden, water runoff issues and rock to be excavated. Throughout the process of the build our queries and problems were handled efficiently and with respect by the Millbrook staff, particularly Lisa in the office and our site supervisors. Building commencement coincided with Covid, but even so Millbrook managed to keep the build happening apart from during the official building lock down. We have now been happily living in our beautiful new home for 11 months. We happily recommend Millbrook to prospective clients’.
